Wintergreen Property Owners Association

Wintergreen Property Owners Association (WPOA) is the homeowners association for all of Wintergreen -both on the mountain and in Stoney Creek. WPOA maintains and manages the Tuckahoe Clubhouse, 53 miles of roads, two pavilions, two swimming pools, parks and 11 lakes. WPOA is responsible for almost all of Wintergreen's open spaces in Stoney Creek and on Wintergreen Mountain. It operates the Wintergreen Police Department and oversees the career staff of the volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

The Wintergreen Police Department is a full-service proactive community-based police organization providing law enforcement and E911 communication services to the Wintergreen community.

Wintergreen Fire and Rescue mission is to preserve life and promote health and safety in our Wintergreen and broader Nelson County community through fire prevention, fire suppression, and effective pre-hospital treatment as well as technical rescue activities. They have two stations, 28 full-time employees and over 40 active volunteers.

Here to Stay Wintergreen are neighbors helping neighbors who want to continue living safely and independently in their Wintergreen homes . HTS has a network of volunteers and members organized to provide services such as transportation, chores, and technology as well as offering classes, programs and social gatherings.

Wintergreen Bulletin Board is an independent, all-volunteer online project featuring a free twice-a-month email newsletter with reader submitted recommendations on services, events, news, items for rent or sale, and other information about the Wintergreen community. Sign up HERE.

The Nature Foundation of Wintergreen is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Wintergreen’s and the region’s environmental legacy for present and future generations. TNFW offers classes, hikes and educational services. The foundation is headquartered in the Trillium House in Wintergreen.

Wintergreen Resort is operated by Pacific Group Resorts, Inc. In addition to the ski slopes, the resort operates the following: Devils Grill Restaurant, Devils Knob Golf Course, Devils Knob Racquet Sports, Wintergarden Aquatics & Fitness Center and Spa, Lake Monocan and Stoney Creek Pool, Tennis and Fitness Center. To utilize most of these facilities, you must be members of the Wintergreen Club.

Wintergreen Sporting Club’s primary focus is shooting, archery, boating, biking, hiking, and fishing, but it's also a fun social and service group. In addition, the club also manages the annual early spring rainbow trout stocking program with WPOA; and, the club started a late fall stocking of the trout pond. Wintergreen Golf Association BOGGS (Bunch of Guys and Gals) is an all-volunteer, independent group holds golf events throughout the season, including weekly tee times for men, women, and pairs, golf clinics, and tournaments.

Wintergreen Mountain Association is a community organization for property owners on the mountain. The mountain and valley associations come together a few times a year for joint events.

Wintergreen Mountain Women provides networking and social opportunities to women living full on the mountain.

Wintergreen Adaptive Sports is an all-volunteer organization that provides outdoor sports and recreational opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Wintergreen Music operates a summer music festival in July with professional musicians and artists from around the country who join forces with aspiring student musicians and faculty to bring music to our region.
